The Stage 32 Videos: Political Drama

Hey y’all, I just uploaded my pitch deck for CALVIN ELLIS, a live-action political sci fi television series built around DC’s Superman of Earth-23. This shit is character-driven, political, Black as hell, and rooted in law, media, power, memory, and myth. It’s structured as a three-part pilot event and follows a Black civil rights attorney of extraterrestrial origin whose public emergence forces a reckoning with truth, personhood, and leadership. I’ve been building this over the last few years, and I’m not even gonna lie, this all came out of grief. Losing both of my parents shifted something in me, and writing became the one place I could actually put that energy somewhere real. So now here we are. Pages turned into projects, projects turned into direction. I’m working on seven projects total right now. Amen. And I’m gonna say this plain: I’m looking for co-writers. Not vibes. Not “let’s talk about it.” Not “I’ve been thinking about writing something.” I mean people who can actually build. Structure. Dialogue. Character. Rhythm. All of it.
